It has some good coverage on this software. Too much coverage on Tasks, Calendar, Contact, and all other non essential email. Yet on email function, e.g. how to enlarge the characters on the screen. Emphasis on the writing a draft. But if the draft is unfinished, the need to SAVE or find the "recovered" copy of the draft, if you stopped and go to internet to check on something.It is still necessary to go to google.com and search for items which cannot be found in this book.

All of the instruction manuals in the Shelly Cashman series are outstanding. The chapters include step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow and pictures of the screen that can be used to compare the picture to what is on your screen. I taught Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at the college level, and the Shelly Cashman books on Word, Excel, and Powerpoint were the text books that I used.

Anyone can learn how to use OutLook with this book, not just students but also in the workforce. Great illistrations, easy to understand, easy to follow. I would recommend this book to anyone, from a beginner to anyone wanting to sharpen their skills.

Nonfiction that reads like fiction from the one and only Shirley Jackson. Remember reading this in elementary school, before I knew who Jackson was-- delighted to find it again. Very readable as an adult, great for kids of all ages who want to get a handle on this grim chapter in American life

I only knew of Salem 'witchcraft' in part. I wanted to find out more, because in my par, ish in Nigeria we had a primary school child who disrupted her family with witchcraft phantasies. It seems to have been a 21st century repetition of the deception wrought in Salem.(Fr.) Bob Dundon, S.J, St. Joseph's Parish, Benin City

This is a great book about Salem Village and the power of witchcraft in their time a must read for all history lovers out there

I bought this book for a history class and wrote a paper on it, but it was surprisingly entertaining. It's a good short read packed full of historical information.

This book is clear and easy to follow, appropriate for all ages. It is subtly laced throughout with Jackson's wit and cynical humor.

Perfect item to give as a gift to a young reader to encourage him to explore his interest in history, while reading about an actual occurance that may be only mentioned in passing in their history school curriculum.

This is one of Shirley Jackson's lesser known books. Written for her son, I found it an easy read and full of information that surprised me. And I mean, written by Shirley Jackson the author of The Haunting and The Lottery.

Fewer and fewer have these but if you do it affects how you handle the dissolution from the start. Another major miss is the lack of discussion of the importance of temporary orders. The myth, temporary orders are temporary. The reality, it establishes a custody/visitation arrangement that the judge will look at as a working plan when it comes to the final decree. If a spouse makes sacrifices to make a plan work thinking it is only temporary that spouse may be stuck with it in the end. There is no warning. I appreciate the advice of taking the high road and I believe in that, too. The high road does not mean making one vulnerable.

I use it as a reference when dealing with my divorce and an aid for the custody issues. Just to get a basic understanding of what I'm getting into. I've read portions of the dummies divorce book and found this book to be slightly more informative. It's an easy read in my opinion and seems to give some realistic basic advise.

Multiple situations and their solutions are explored, explained and pros and cons given. I would absolutely recommend, and have already, this book to anyone considering a separation and/or a divorce. Job well done!

Sad to say I needed this but I did. It gives a clear national overview of what to expect. Since the law varies from state to state, there's only so much it could do to help

Terrible. This would have only been for fanatics on its release date long ago but now it makes pop culture seem like an utter waste of time. Bought out of curiosity and because it was marked far down. And almost no content on the Wack Pack (pre-Wack Pack mostly). When I prune my library, this will be the first discarded.

I am a HUGE Howard Stern fan & have been since 1993. I've read his first tome, "Private Parts" a handful of times through the years & enjoy it every single time. Now this book on the other hand is nothing like "PP". Even recently HS has said that he wishes he could rewrite it. I bought this book thinking that the 1st time I tried to read it was so long ago that maybe I didn't give it a chance. Well, I've read it again now, & the only thing I can say is that it was a tad better the 2nd time around. There is more insight into the on-air players & other staff that is interesting. Overall though, it feels like an empty read for a true fan. Just a follow up to the 1st book to make some $$. Stick with "Private Parts" for a funnier, more interesting read. This book is okay to keep in your bathroom & skip around reading certain parts here & there; a lot can be skipped. And Howard even agrees! :)

Book condition and transaction exceeded my expectations. I am just really disappointed with the content and writing. Am a huge Stern fan, and wasn't expecting Shakespeare in this instance......Just fell way short of the funny I was seeking. Hardly the seller's fault. :)

I used Kplan GMAT few years back and raised my score by 70 points in 30 days. It focuses on the fundamentals in the beginning which is imperative in order to build upon deeper and more challenging subjects ahead. I like how the book is separate and structured for learning one key concept every lesson. This helps students to not get overwhelmed by all the material at once. I would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about getting into a top MBA program.

I found this Kaplan review perhaps the most helpful GMAT guide on the market (out of several I ordered). It was my primary study guide.The Official GMAT Guides take a very formal approach (like a textbook) and generally don't "prep" or "coach" you for the GMAT as book does (but I found this book also does a good job of teaching the material). This book is well-suited for studying and taking the GMAT under time constraints and is a good all-around GMAT study aid.I was initially reluctant to purchase Kaplan because of their poor reputation in LSAT Prep but I found their GMAT guide very helpful (especially the Quantitative sections). It gives an excellent, concise quantitative review mixed with expert test taking strategies.The verbal sections are also good as wellHighly recommended!!

Not impressed. Instead of the CD...most of the stuff is online. That's the only diff. But overall a good prep for GMAT. Kaplan's are always tougher to score and better to practice compared to the others.

I really liked this book. I thought the layout was nice and it did a pretty good job of explaining each of the sections. The online portion was good as it had plenty of practice exams and monthly quizzes. I had a Princeton Review online course before and compared to that, Kaplan was amazing! All that being said, I rate this a 5 stars probably not 100% due to the content of this book, but because of what I used before, Kaplan was 50x better than the PR course I bought.One of the Cons of this program: On the practice exams, it shows you a graphical breakdown between your Quant and Verbal sections, but it does not show you a break down among the sub sections like CR, RC, SC, PS, and DS. That would have been nice so you could see which areas were your weakest.For the money, a GREAT deal!

This book was alright for studying the GMAT. After taking the test I felt like it left some important areas out but did cover some others pretty well. It is readable and guides you through problems well but it's not how you'll get a 700+.

This book is good .Qauntative techniques are good . They are well explained . But Verbal and Sentence correction you need to refer more books . but Overall this book quiet good at least to kick off

I ordered this book looking forward to using the online practice features. Unfortunately, Kaplan said the code was already used. Since I can't access the online tools, I only have one practice test and no diagnostics. Waste of money.

Jonathan Sun is the author behind @jonnysun. When he isn't tweeting, he is an architect, designer, engineer, artist, playwright and comedy writer. His work across multiple disciplines is concerned with narratives of human experience. As a playwright, Jonathan's work has been performed at the Yale School of Drama, Factory Theater in Toronto, Hart House Theater, Theater Lab in Toronto, and the University of Toronto Drama Festival (where he received the President’s Award for Best Production). As an artist and illustrator, his work has been commissioned by the New Haven ArtSpace, and exhibited at MIT, the Yale School of Architecture, and the University of Toronto. I know a lot of people have said that this book is "mind blowing" and "earth shattering" and whatnot but I just wanted to clarify that, at its core, this book is soft and gentle and warm. It feels less like a startling revolution and more like a kind reminder of everything you already know to be true. It is honest and wonderful and remarkable and that is it's magic.

I read this book with my preadolescent son. He was attentive all the time, dazzled by some of the thoughts and sentences of this wise book. Once we finished reading, he summed everything up in a simple phrase, “this book is full of existentialist stuff.” The book is a collection of thoughts about life and death, made mostly by animals, who together personify the whole zoo of human anxieties.The reflections are smartly threaded together. The author shies away from the ironic detachment and the indignant engagement that characterize many of his contemporaries. He embraces a tragic approach to life, love, work, art and death.As a way to recruit the cynical and the angry, let me give you a few examples of the author’s quiet wisdom: about sadness ("if u are sad becuase happiness is fleeting, just remember that sadness is also fleeting too"), about the trap of knowledge ("i’m trying to be a wiser owl but the more i learn about the world, the bigger it seems and the smaller i feel"), about the paradoxical nature of relationships ("the harder it is to say goobye to sombody, the luckier u are to have met sombody ur going to miss"), about lasting love ("we internalize traits we observe in others as a way to honor and remeber them. we are all living memorials") and about life in general ("the universe is most generous when somehow, agaimst all odds, it finds a way of telling you ur seeing somethimg for the last time in ur life").I recommend this book. All in all, it gives you the simple (and rare) pleasure of melancholy: “enjoy ur sadness one day even ur sadness will be over too soon.”

This book is poigniant graphic story that anyone from ages 7 to 70 will find something to adore about it. Empathizing with fear, imposter syndrome, loneliness, friendship, exploration, and how our worldview shapes our world- this book says so much with so little. Poetic and profound while simplicity makes it wonderfully accessible. Reading it felt like getting a mental hug while being told you're not alone.

There are graphic books that enchant because of the quality detailed artwork, others because they have one's favourite characters in them, and others because they are like an entertaining movie that one truly enjoys and cannot put down. However, sometimes one come across books that we love despite not having any of that, books that one loves because they are fresh and refreshing, funny and full of wisdom, all at the same time.The alien in this graphic novel is like a small child with poor literacy skills to whom the world around has never been explained except for a few generic facts, and who discovers it on its own. Its clean eye notices the idiosyncrasy and contradictions of human nature without any judgement, just puzzlement at times. Sadness, happiness, personal identity, and the fear of the unknown are some of the themes posed to the reader throughout this comic. My favourite characters are the egg that wants to be a frog (an analogy for so many existential quests) and Nothing(ness) and its God-like wisdom. The texts are naive, witty, hilarious at time, sweet and wise; the book ends with the cute alien's travel log, which contains some philosophical witty tweets to ponder about. The drawing is simple, purposely child-like. I thought that the book feeds on some premises we can find in some of the stories in Lem's The Star Diaries (Penguin Modern Classics).The Kindle edition was not good, at least in my tablet. Images could not be zoomed in or out, and neither was the lettering. One can use double tapping for vignette individuation, but since there aren't vignettes in this comic, what one sees is the letters augmented a tiny bit. Despite that, some of the texts are very difficult to read without a magnifying glass.

For a strangely illustrated little comic book, this goes very deep into the meaning of existence. Best read in small bits, so you can stop and think about it for a day or two, then read the next bit. It's surprisingly sweet and well written- in its own obscure language that we can understand. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I think it might even be fun to color.One note: If I had it to do over again, I would get the paper book and not the kindle version. The kindle was very small on my screen and my kindle app didn't work to enlarge the pictures, so if it was too small to read, I had to do a screen shot and then enlarge it in my photo album. It would be better to get the paper book. But you should get it, however you can!
